How long can milk be stored in the freezer, prior to making the soaps?

If the milk has been stored properly, there is no limit to how long it has been in the freezer.

What type of storage bags are accepted?

Plastic breast milk bags are the best option, but Ziplock bags will also work. We do not accept glass containers for storage as they can be damaged during transit.

Can you use colostrum milk for making soaps?

Though our soap bars can be made from colostrum milk, we highly recommend that it is reserved for your baby

Yes, definitely! Milky Wave's flagship product is the creation of customized breast milk soaps for every mother. Even if you only have one bag of pumped breast milk, we can make a personalized soap just for you.

Is it necessary for me to pump breast milk specifically for the soaps?

Absolutely not. Any frozen breast milk can be used, even milk pumped after consuming alcohol.

Can you make soaps with old milk I found in the freezer?

Absolutely, yes!

Can you make soap with milk that I pumped after drinking wine or alcohol?

Yes, absolutely!

Can you make soap with milk that I pumped after taking medicine?

Absolutely, yes!

I don’t have two full bags of milk, but I have several smaller bags. Is that okay?

Absolutely! You can send multiple bags of breast milk, as long as they fit within the shipping box.
